null

Rev. Don was the pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Amherst from 2013 to 2020. He was called to serve there after graduating from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, IN. He is anxious to begin his life in the Holy Ministry and serve God’s children here through the preaching of God’s Word and the administration of His Sacraments.

Rev. Don is married to Corinne (nee Mannikko) and together they have been blessed with 9 children. Before moving to Fort Wayne the Johnson’s called Reed City, MI home and are very excited about returning to a small town where everybody knows you and everything is within walking distance. In Reed City Rev. Don was the store manager for the McDonald’s located there.

Rev. Don’s aspirations are to get to know everybody here in Amherst and learn as much as he can about central Wisconsin. He hopes to stay here for a good long while and put down roots in this wonderful town. He is thankful to God for the chance to be His shepherd here in Amherst.
